Ella had been practicing on the golf course. She put her clubs away, came in the house, looked out at the golf course and yelled, "Bears, get your camera"

Mother & two cubs crossed the fairway and walked by the Tee

Walking slowly

Look at the mothers hair

Checking things out as they walk along

One cub up the tree

Second one going up, pauses and looks at me

Both up, lowest one looking at me

The mother was looking at me. I snapped this picture just as she looked away, turned, ran back to the tree, looked up at cubs, turned and went back to where I took this picture. The cubs jumped down and ran past her.

She stopped, got up on her hind legs and looked at me. I snapped just as she looked away and started to drop to the ground. Just then there was a clap of thunder and all three ran back to the course, crossed it and went down into the revine, mother leading.

Ella says it was quite an exciting afternoon, adding that she was glad she was not on the golf course when the bears walked on.
